It’s been almost two months since Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt shocked the world with their split (it appears time flies when love is dead). When Jolie filed for divorce on that fateful day, she sought sole custody of the couple’s six children, and an all-out media war against Pitt commenced, with stories alleging he was overusing alcohol and had been physically abusive toward the children, exposing a reported child welfare investigation into his behavior on a private plane. Now Jolie’s ask has been granted: According to the Associated Press, the two A-listers have reached a custody agreement granting Jolie full custody, with “therapeutic visits” for Pitt.

If a divorce is winnable, Jolie continues to win this breakup. The agreement, reached more than a week ago but announced late yesterday, comes even after Pitt had told a court he is seeking joint custody of the children. (Just this past Friday, he filed a legal response to Jolie’s divorce petition, confirming he wanted joint custody.) Still, it has been noted that it may not be the final custody agreement between the two. (In September, Pitt and Jolie agreed to similar terms, including both promising to meet with therapists.) TMZ reports the battle between Jolie and Pitt is ongoing, and that the new custody agreement stands only until the Los Angeles Country Department of Children and Family Services concludes its investigation into Pitt.

“We believe that all sides are committed to healing the family and ask for your consideration during this difficult time,” Jolie’s rep said.
