One former Victoria's Secret model is alleging her time as an "Angel" was all but heaven-sent.

Kylie Bisutti, 23, says she felt like "a piece of meat" while working for the company after she won its first-ever national model search in 2009. Bisutti also told the New York Post Wednesday that she was required to "play down [her] marriage... because [she] was supposed to be flirting with everyone all the time."

In her forthcoming book, "I'm No Angel," the ex-model also reveals that photos from her first shoot after winning the competition, in which she wore a nearly-sheer bikini, ended up on a pornography website.

Bisutti made her Victoria's Secret debut at the lingerie brand's 2009 fashion show, but quit modeling two years later, announcing her decision via Twitter, writing, "I quit being a VS model to be a Proverbs 31 wife." (“Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised," the Bible passage reads.)

Victoria's Secret asserts in a statement given to People that Bisutti "has repeatedly fabricated her work experience" with the company. She "hasn't worked for [Victoria's Secret] since" 2009, when she participated in a swim photo shoot and won the opportunity for her one-time walk in the fashion show via the amateur modeling competition, according to the statement.

"She was never a Victoria’s Secret ‘Angel’ as defined by the terms of our Angel model contract," nor was she "offered any subsequent opportunities" with the brand, "despite her multiple appeals for further work," the company says.

What do you think? Are you surprised by Kylie Bisutti's claims? Do you believe her, or is she just a scorned beauty trying to make a buck?
