Elektra/Wolverine The Redeemer

Yoshitaka Amano is a Japanese fantasy artist. He began his career as an animator and has become known for his illustrations for 'Vampire Hunter D' and for his character designs, image illustrations and title logo designs for the 'Final Fantasy' video game series developed by Square Enix. In 2000 he worked with Neil Gaiman on 'The Sandman: The Dream Hunters', which won several awards.

In 2001 he cooperated on another comic book with Greg Rucka, 'Elektra/Wolverine The Redeemer'. In 2006, the first volume of his HERO series was released by Boom! Studios. This was followed by 'Mateki: The Magic Flute'. In early 2010, he established the film production party Studio Deva Loka. He also published a graphic novel with Dark Horse, 'Shinjuku'.
