Quick refresher: Dallas guy Jake Pavelka was first a contestant on 'The Bachelorette,' then starred as the Bachelor the next year. He's also been on 'Dancing With the Stars' (pictured here), 'Bachelor Pad' and 'The Bold and the Beautiful.'(Adam Larkey / ABC)

He's one of two celebrity bartenders doing a cocktail throwdown at Snuffer's in Addison on June 23 in the name of charity. Pavelka will be up against fellow D-FW-ite Meghan Jones, "former lovetestant" (says her Twitter bio) on reality television show I Wanna Marry Harry.

On June 23, each will be mixing up their favorite cocktail and convincing attendees theirs is better. They'll compete for donations for their chosen charities: Pat & Emmitt Smith Charities for Pavelka; the Boston Terrier Rescue of North Texas for Jones.

Jones will be making the Dallas Hottie, a vodka cocktail with pineapple juice, club soda and jalapeño. Pavelka's still working on his drink. The cocktail that raises the most money will land on Snuffer's menu for a month.

Back to those roses: A statement from Snuffer's says, "Jake will be shamelessly working the crowd by handing out roses, while Meghan hustles for support while crowning her possible prince-to-be." Excellent.
