DWTS host Tom Bergeron reveals his mother has passed away only four months after his father's death
It's been a tough few months for Tom Bergeron.
The 60-year-old host of Dancing with the Stars confirmed on Saturday that his mother had in fact died, only four months after his father passed away.
On Friday, Tom, who apparently could see what was coming, took to Twitter to voice some thoughts about his beloved mother.

He posted a heartwarming picture of himself in a suit with his arm around his loving mom, and his tear-jerking caption brought fans up to speed on the situation.
'Four months ago my Mom lost the love of her life. Now we've gathered at her bedside. They never did like being apart.'
Then, on Saturday, when she did in fact pass away, he posted another photo.
This time, the snap depicted Tom in the middle of his parents. The group is dressed casually, in golf shirts, and appear to be having a nice time wherever the picture was taken.

In that post, things got even more poignant.
'Four months apart. Together forever. #RIPMom,' said the television vet.
Back in early October Tom was absent during an episode of ABC's hit ballroom dancing show so he could fly home to be by his ailing father's bedside.
He made the announcement via a tweet that also included a throwback picture of him and his dad in black and white.

Showing remarkable sensitivity, he shared 'I'll miss 2morrow's DWTS to be at my Dad's bedside. He's given me a lifetime of support. Time to return the favor.'
The following Monday he returned to the show and had some touching words about the death of his father, who was 81.
'My dad loved this show. Never missed an episode,' the America's Funniest Home Videos star said as the show concluded. 'And I'd like to think somewhere that he didn't miss this one.'
