The Bachelor split turns ugly as Jake Pavelka accuses Vienna Giraidi of cheating... while she brands him 'a monster'

An ugly war of words has broken out over the latest Bachelor split.

US reality TV star Jake Pavelka, 32, is claiming he called off the six-month engagement because his 24-year-old fiancée, Vienna Giraidi, was jealous of his growing success in Hollywood.

He also says he developed ‘trust issues’ amid media rumours she was unfaithful.

But the former Hooters waitress insists she dumped Jake, saying they had not been intimate in four months.

He said, she said: The Bachelor stars Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi are going their separate ways - and both blame each other for the split

She also accuses her one-time love of being 'a monster' whose obsession with becoming an actor blind-sided her.

Vienna has already been linked to Greek actor Gregory Michael, 29, whom she was recently seen out with.

A spokesperson for Michael admitted the pair ‘definitely had chemistry’, but says his client was told the engagement had been over for some time.

'I don't know if there is somebody else in the picture for her,’ Jake told People magazine when asked about reports of her infidelity. ‘But I'm not going to be surprised if more stuff comes out.'

‘There were a lot of red flags.’

Pucker up: Vienna claims Jake - seen kissing her last month in Hawaii - only touched her when the cameras were rolling

The pilot turned actor - who competed on the most recent season of Dancing With The Stars and just wrapped a guest-spot on the Lifetime series Drop Dead Diva – said the blonde was envious of his growing fame.

'Vienna hasn’t begun her career yet,' he says.

'She was watching these doors fly open for me and it was causing an intense amount of jealousy.

'DWTS was tremendously hard on our relationship. It wasn’t the gruelling schedule, it was the fact that they didn’t ask her to do it, that it happened to me and not to her.'

Vienna’s account of the split paints an entirely different picture.

'Every second we’re together, it’s always business with Jake,' she told America's Star magazine.

Reality romance: The couple became engaged after meeting on the hit U.S. TV show in March

'He really, really wants to be an actor.  And I would never take that dream away from him. But I had no idea about that. I thought he was a pilot. This wasn’t supposed to be our life.'

Intimacy, claims Vienna, was completely missing from the couple’s life.

'He only kisses me if we are on the red carpet or if cameras are there. Besides that I have to ask for a kiss – and if I do he’ll pucker his lips and just peck me.

'The other day he was rubbing my arm and I literally almost cried, because I hadn’t felt his touch for so long.  That’s the worst thing you can do to someone.  It’s emotionally abusive.'

Jake picked the blonde out of 25 possible candidates on the hit reality show.

His decision came as a surprise to viewers at the time, given the slew of tabloid rumours about Vienna's wild past.
