RTB Rewind: 50 Cent Appears on 'The Simpsons'

On Feb. 13, 2005, 50 Cent appeared on the "Pranksta Rap" episode of the animated series The Simpsons.

50 played himself on what was the ninth episode of the sixteenth season of the juggernaut series, which was scored by The Coup's Boots Riley. As aforementioned, he played himself in what was a short cameo. After Bart's rap battle, he runs into him while driving home in traffic. 50 offers him a chance to hop on his world tour but Bart declines because he has to go to school.

The episode appearance came after the massive success of his major label debut Get Rich or Die Tryin and about a month before his sophomore effort, 2005's The Massacre. Of course, it was also a precursor to the massive success 50 later had in television and film.
