Although Pablo Montero's lawyer said he couldn't make it to his court hearing because he didn't receive his immigration permission documents, the actor said he was simply too busy taping Fuego en la sangre (Univisión), and couldn't leave work.

“I couldn't leave because I was working. I petitioned to leave, but it didn't work out,” he said to Televisa Espectáculos. The 34-year-old still battles legal problems for the cocaine that was found in his car and bloodstream, when police pulled him over while he was driving in Miami.

The judge presiding over his case rescheduled his court date for November 10, when the results of his rehab program will be analyzed.

This past August, the actor was jailed for 48 hours after his medical examination came back positive for drug use.
