McDonald's is ending the month with a makeover.

Starting Feb. 26, the fast food chain is bringing its manga counterpart to life with its new "WcDonald's" campaign. The makeover will bring anime fans in over 30 global markets manga-inspired packaging, four episodic shorts, and a new sauce.

As for the reason behind the campaign, Tariq Hassan, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer at McDonald's USA, said that it is a result of anime becoming a "huge part of today's culture."

"We love that our fans have been inviting us into the conversation for years. The WcDonald's universe is a reflection of what fans have created. It honors their vision and celebrates their creativity while authentically bringing it to life in our restaurants for the first time ever," said Hassan in a press release statement.

According to the new sauce, fans can expect it to be a "combination of ginger, garlic, and soy with a slight heat from chili flakes." Called the "Savory Chili WcDonald's Sauce," the fast food chain says it's a dip that mirrors the "bold, dynamic spirit" of classic anime heroes.

The "WcDonald's" experience will include packaging created by Japanese manga artist and illustrator Acky Bright.

Bright worked with the company to create manga-inspired packaging that features WcDonald's Crew characters. The packaging is set to include a digital code that will give customers access to weekly digital manga drops releasing every Monday, from Feb. 26 until March 18.

The collaboration between Bright and McDonald's is one that came out of "genuine love."
