In the Feb. 26 episode of her podcast, Let's Be Clear with Shannen Doherty, the actress, 52, invited her friend Anne Marie Kortright to chat about everything from sexual wellness to skin care. While chatting about beauty routines, Kortright, a model, told the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum she has not gotten any invasive procedures done because she is “petrified of the needles” — and moved her face around to prove it. “Mine does too, but I have had Botox,” Doherty replied. “I’ve done it a couple times. I think the last time I did it was, like, six months ago.” Shannen Doherty Shares How Her Cancer Diagnosis Affected Her Filming of the Horror Movie Bethany The Charmed actress raved about her recent experience, which was with celebrity-favorite plastic surgeon Dr. Jason Diamond, before recalling a “horrible” one. No, not yet.’ It petrifies me.” After Kortright declared that that would be an “interesting moment in life” — if Doherty decided to have the procedure — the star said, “Oh, God, I don’t know if I can do it.” “It really scares me,” she added. “I don’t want to come out like a different person — that’s what really frightens me.” Shannen Doherty Details How She Struggled to Hold a Glass After Brain Surgery: 'I'm Not a Quitter' (Exclusive) Shannen Doherty in 2019. You know, women without fillers, without Botox, without a facelift. Women who embraced their face and all the experience it showed.” "I have lived. I love that I’ve lived and that my face reflects my life,” she continued. “I survived a lot yes cancer but more than that. I embrace me now. Finally. Done with the perception magazines and Hollywood try to make us in to.” “I want to see women like me,” she finished. “Women like us.”
