Niecy Nash-Betts and Jessica Betts are sharing their keys to a solid marriage.

The pair, who got married in 2020, attended the 75th annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday, walking the red carpet together. During an interview on E!'s red carpet pre-show, the couple revealed how they keep things fresh.

"Skinny-dip often," said Nash-Betts, when asked for marriage advice. "And drink lots of champagne."

Nash-Betts, 53, who is nominated for outstanding supporting actress in a limited series for Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, also referred to Betts as her "center of gravity."

The actress told Vanity Fair last January that, when it comes to Betts, I "call Jessica my hersband, not my wife."

Nash-Betts previously opened up to PEOPLE about her marriage to Betts in September 2020, describing their surprise nuptials as a "going into myself" rather than a "coming out."

"[My marriage] has absolutely nothing to do with gender and it has everything to do with her soul," she explained at the time. "She is the most beautiful soul I have ever met in my life."

"I was not suppressing my sexuality my whole life," she added. "I love who I love. At one point in my life, I married twice and I love those people. And today I love this person. I've done everything I wanted to do on my own terms and my own way. So my choice now in a partner has nothing to do with who I've always been. It's a matter of who I am in this moment."
