La Recova Montejo

Nice restaurant in a good location, pretty good choices on the menu, decent wine list. I would rate the food 4 stars for Merida. Good, but not amazing. The service is good, but they tried to overcharge us when the check came which kind of ruined it. It may have been a "gringo tax"... When we pointed it out, the waiter didn't apologize, she just took the check, crossed out the bottom line and hand-wrote the correct amount under it. By the way, tip was included. Not the best dining experience I had in Merida.
