Wf of WmCarolyn L. Scofield Golden Stonecipher, 76, of East Syracuse, passed away Monday, January 17, 2023, at her home. Born December 20, 1946, in East Syracuse, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ethel Deyo Scofield. For 28 years, she was employed with the New York State Department of Health, retiring in 2008. She was a member of the Bridgeport Methodist Church. Carolyn was an avid traveler who enjoyed cruising to the Caribbean and Mexico. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Keith Golden of Oneida; and two sisters, Norma Bickford of Bridgeport, and Shirley Krukowski of East Syracuse. She is survived by her loving husband, William J. Stonecipher; a son, Kirk (Samantha) Golden of Brockport; her daughter-in-law, Laura Clark of Oneida; seven grandchildren, Jared, Chase, and Carson Golden of Brockport, Troy Golden of East Syracuse, Marissa Yackel of Chittenango, Josephine and Frank Mendoza of Oneida; a great grandchild, Ashtin Michael; two sisters, Barbara Cavanaugh of East Syracuse and Lynn (Charles) Kolb of Cicero; a brother, Arthur (Betty) Scofield of Liverpool; and nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday, January 23 from 4-7 pm at Delaney Greabell Adydan Funeral Home, 241 Kinne Street, East Syracuse, followed by services at 7 pm.
