Spice Girls, Girls Aloud, Little Mix, All Saints and Sugababes stars sent fans wild as they teamed up for a special reason.

Stars of Britain's biggest girl groups all united for a panel talk to celebrate women’s history month. Girls Aloud's Nicola Roberts shared behind-the-scenes snaps from the Apple Music event as she admitted she was "pinching herself" over the moment. She was joined by Spice Girls' Mel C, Sugababes star Keisha Buchanan, Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock and All Saints' Shaznay Lewis.

Nicola said: "I’m still processing and pinching myself. Waking up, my heart feels so full after hearing all our shared experiences of being the women who make up the UK’s biggest girl bands of the past 30 years. There’s only so many of us that can relate to each other’s journey so being in a room with 4 at once and talking the highs and lows was everything. It was so honest and raw I left feeling weirdly healed and heard… and inspired.

"I have so much respect for each of these women. Something I took away, was that we all started out just as girls with a love for music, singing, writing and for all of the outside noise, the hell of losing yourself and finding yourself again, that little flame still hasn’t gone out."

Fans couldn't believe the collaboration between the stars as one said: "GIIRRRLL THIS IS WILD." Another added: "Long live British girl groups." Someone else commented: "Women supporting women we love to see it." A fourth wrote: "A photo full of iconic women from iconic girlbands." A fan quipped: "What an iconic group of women girl power."

Girls Aloud are gearing up for their highly anticipated comeback this year, as their tour kicks off in Dublin, Ireland, in May and will see them playing dates until the end of June - with rumours they may even perform at the 2024 Glastonbury Festival. Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, Nicola and Kimberley Walsh have said the shows will pay tribute to fellow original member Sarah Harding, who sadly died following a cancer diagnosis in 2021 aged 39.

In November, Nicola, Nadine, Cheryl and Kimberley shared the exciting news on social media. They wrote: "We're so excited to announce that we will be touring the UK and Ireland in May and June 2024. A celebration of Sarah, our music and our incredible fans. We can't wait to sing and dance with you all once again. - Cheryl, Kimberley, Nadine and Nicola."

Earlier this month the group - formed on ITV’s Popstars: The Rivals back in 2002 - sent fans into a frenzy of excitement by teasing a never-before-released track. They re-released their 2004 album What Will The Neighbours Say? to mark its 20th anniversary. It includes thirty tracks in total including tunes that were not included on the original album. Girls Aloud last released an album in 2012 with their Greatest Hits retrospective, Ten - and their last single was the 2012 song Beautiful 'Cause You Love Me.
