ELWYN NAMES NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF CHILDREN’S BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES
Elwyn, the internationally recognized nonprofit human service organization, has promoted Maureen Masarik, Psy.D to Vice President of Children’s Behavioral Health Services.
Dr. Masarik joined Elwyn in 2010 as a doctoral intern and has since held various leadership roles in children’s residential, adult residential, and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) programs including Senior Director of Clinical Operations for Behavioral Health and IDD Services, and most recently as the Executive Director of Children’s Behavioral Health.
With over 25 years of nonprofit, clinical, and leadership experience, Dr. Masarik’s extensive career includes a decade at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she contributed to various multi-site NIMH-granted studies across the United States and held a joint appointment in the Maryland Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities. She completed her master’s and doctoral rotations at A.I. du Pont Hospital for Children, Kennedy Krieger Institute, and Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital, and holds an MS in clinical psychology from Loyola University in Maryland, as well as a PsyD in clinical psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
