Strictly Come Dancing is set to honour the late Dead or Alive singer Pete Burns tonight (October 29) with a Halloween Special group dance to the sounds of 'You Spin Me Round'.

According to the show, the routine has been in the planning for months and, following the news of Burns's death earlier this week, Strictly has decided to stick with the song on tonight's show and use the opportunity to pay tribute to the singer and his music.

"Tonight's group dance is to the track 'You Spin Me Round' by Dead Or Alive," a statement from the show read.

"This routine has been in the planning for months, and with the tragic news this week of Pete Burns' untimely death, we couldn't think of a better way to honour his name – and this brilliant track – to make it the most spectacular Halloween Special group dance in the show's history. We hope you all enjoy it.

"Thanks Pete for the wonderful music."
