It's been four long years since Girls Aloud went their separate ways, but maybe the time is right for a reunion?

The girl group behind pop bangers 'Sound of the Underground', 'I'll Stand by You', 'The Promise' and so many more timeless hits haven't performed together since 'Ten: The Hits Tour', focussing instead on their solo projects and - in the case of Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh and now Cheryl - having babies.

In the latest issue of OK! Magazine, Sarah Harding admits that she's not particularly close with some of her fellow Girls these days.

"We've not seen each other properly for years but Nadine and I still message each other," Sarah said.

"Cheryl, Kimberley and Nicola [Roberts] are really close but Nadine and I are much more independent. We might have gone our separate ways but we were like sisters for years, so I'll always care about them."

Relative estrangement aside, Sarah is still holding out hope that Girls Aloud can someday top the incredible success of their final greatest hits tour.

"I don't think it'll happen any time soon, but I'd love the chance to do something again," she said. "A lot of our fans would love us to come back so we'll have to see what happens."

Like Sarah says, we don't expect any reunion tour announcements any time soon since Cheryl has only just welcomed her and boyfriend Liam Payne's baby son.

But if the Spice Girls can somehow make a reunion happen, we'll never give hope for more Girls Aloud.
