ARCHIPIELAGO LOS ROQUES VENEZUELA A PARADISE
Los Roques Archipelago with its beautiful blue and white sands, is a is a Federal unit comprising a group of Islands and cays in the Lesser Antilles belonging to Venezuela.
Has an approximate area of 221,120 hectares between land and maritime spaces, includes about 40 Islands and more than 300 banks of sand with white sand and crystal clear waters, the most distant, Cayo de Agua, is an hour's boat from Gran Roque. The archipelago of los Roques, considered America's largest marine park Latin and also has the coral reef biggest of the Caribbean Sea.
Its climate is warm and dry, so that the land animals do not abound, however its flora and fauna are very rich.
Los Roques by its beauty has become a tourist attraction for foreigners and the same Venezuelan.

Large hotels are not available as a national park.
You can reach the Islands from the Venezuelan mainland, basically using 2 means: by air and by sea, on a cruise ship passing through the Islands out of La Guaira , in both cases has to come first to Gran Roque and from there take boats to other islands and cays.
