Description
Choose high frequency topical words from the text to be read by you or your student. Write 1-4 target words, depending on student's ability to actively listen and/or find words in text. The idea is to keep student actively engaged during reading, even if they are not proficient readers or have attention issues. This has potential to keep students in class, experiencing success during a reading lesson. Rewards may be given to further promote motivation to listen or read carefully to recognize and tally the target words.
