Angelina Jolie Reportedly Felt ‘Pressured’ to Marry Brad Pitt & Won’t Marry Again

We never thought we’d see a world in which anyone didn’t want to marry Brad Pitt, but here we are: Angelina Jolie reportedly felt pressured into tying the knot with her movie star ex.

A source is sharing some surprising details about Jolie and Pitt’s marriage, including information about where Jolie stands on the issue of marriage going forward. “She felt that Brad pressured her” into getting married, a source told Us Weekly, adding that the actress “will never get married again.”

It’s worth noting that Pitt and Jolie have yet to finalize their divorce, but they have reached a custody agreement. Though Jolie may not be on board with the prospect of getting married again, she and Pitt have reportedly found a way to make it work as co-parents to their six children. And despite reports of tension between Pitt and the couple’s children, it appears the family has reached a place of peace.

“He’s grateful that all the animosity is in the past,” the source added, as Us Weekly reports. The kids “come first,” they continued. “That’s what he’s most excited about — being a dad and sharing his life with his children.”

Pitt has moved on, though: He is reportedly dating jewelry designer Sat Hari Khalsa, who is a mere mortal, not a movie star.

While the subject of a family breakup may be a sensitive one for Pitt, the star is willing to tackle the topic as an actor — that is, if the material feels right.

“I would be exploring it whether there was a script that allowed that or not,” he said during an appearance on NPR’s Weekend Edition. “A breakup of a family is certainly an eye-opener that as one — and I’m speaking in general again — but as one needs to understand, I had to understand my own culpability in that, and what can I do better. Because I don’t want to go on like this.”

While Pitt and Jolie are technically still working through the process of divorcing, the exes are legally single — which, according to sources, feels like a major step forward for the once-married pair.

“There’s a sense of relief,” a source told E! News. “It’s progress in the right direction. They both want to move on with their lives and were in agreement that this step should happen—there was no reason not to do this.”

The bottom line? We hate to break it to you, but the possibility of a Jolie/Pitt reunion? Yeah, it’s not looking so good.
