Liberty, Mo. – The SBU men's basketball team returned to the road tonight after a three game home stand. They took on the William Jewell Cardinals for the second time this season and fell by a final score of 52-66. The Bearcats now moved to 6-15 (2-11 GLVC) on the season.
Sophomore
Drenin Dinkins had a game high 22 points off 50% shooting from the field. He also pulled down a team high 7 rebounds for a near double-double while also contributing three assists and two blocks. Fellow sophomore
Bayley Crawford came off the bench scoring nine points with three rebounds and one assist. The whole team out rebounded the Cardinals 33-30.
The Bearcats will return to action on Saturday as they continue their road trip to Rockhurst University. The Bearcats will battle the hawks at the Mason-Halpin Field House with a scheduled tipoff of 3:00pm.
