Austin 10hp Tilly.
Officially this militarised version of the Austin 10hp was known as the Light Utility Truck, but they soon became known as the "Tilly" by those that drove them during the war. The example shown below is in use overseas, in the background are what look to be RAF buildings covered with camouflage netting. The first photograph shows a military chap stood with his trusty Austin, door ajar. Note the heavy duty wheels and the Town & Country tyres fitted to the Tilly.
