Jake Pavelka is returning to his role as a bachelor — only this time, he’s just pretending.

The rose-peddling reality TV star will play a fictitious heartbreaker on Lifetime‘s “Drop Dead Diva,” People.com reports.

Pavelka will guest star as Toby Davlin, a suitor on the dating show “Finding the One.” In the episode, the show’s producer is sued for “intentionally inflicting emotional harm” after Davlin dumps bachelorette after bachelorette.

‘I am honored to be a part of “Drop Dead Diva” this season and cannot wait to meet the cast and crew,’ Pavelka told people.com.

According to the show’s creator and executive producer, Pavelka charmed the entire cast and crew of “Diva.”

“When Jake came into the office to audition for the role the whole production came to a stop,” Josh Berman told the gossip Web site. “Everyone wanted to talk with him. He was so gracious and charming. He was spot-on and won the role in the room.”

Although Pavelka’s most recent roles have been on reality shows like “The Bachelor” and “Dancing with the Stars,” he is not a novice actor. Prior to gaining fame with his reality series, Pavelka pursued an acting career under the name Jake Landrum.

Pavelka’s acting CV includes playing a young version of Chuck Norris in flashback scenes in “Walker, Texas Ranger.”

The former bachelor starts shooting his scenes for “Diva” on June 18. His episode, entitled “Good Grief,” is set to air August 22.
