Rafael Amarillas (14-4-1, 8 KO's) defeated Omar Chavez (38-7-1, 25 KOs) by unanimous decision at the Polideportivo Rafael S. Millan in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico.

Amarillas came into the ring as the victim, but as the rounds went on he took control of the fight and gave Chavez a merciless beating.

Rafael visited the canvas twice, in the first and second rounds.

Chavez's face slowly began to lose shape, Omar had blood coming out of his nose and mouth, his right eye was practically closed and purple.

Amarillas came out with everything from the first episode and forgot the respect that the Chavez name has in boxing, he punished his rival and hit him even under his tongue.

The judges' scorecards were: Scores: 96-95, 96-93 and 98-94

Chavez has three straight losses, the last time he won was in 2019 against Jesus Vegas.
