In August, the Army conducted the IVAS 1.2 Phase 1 User Assessment at Fort Drum, New York. Soldiers from 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, United States Army conducted mission planning, mission briefings, mission rehearsals, squad land navigation, target detection testing, and target engagement for weapons compatibility. Soldiers provided informative feedback and responded positively that the IVAS 1.2 prototypes brought additional capabilities over their currently fielded systems. #SoldierWarrior  US Army Video by Spc. Last month, PEO Soldier accepted the delivery of 20 IVAS 1.2 prototypes. The systems passed initial functionality tests. We anticipate IVAS 1.2 will address many of the concerns that were raised about earlier versions of IVAS and provide Soldiers with an outstanding capability.
