Today the Puerto Rico Public-Private Partnerships Authority (P3A) celebrates another important milestone, as the Puerto Rico Highway and Transportation Authority (PRHTA) and PR Tollroads LLC (Metropistas) successfully completed the financial closing of the public-private partnership (P3) for the PR-20, PR-52, PR-53 and PR-66 tollroads. This P3 has two fundamental aspects: it pursues the objective of improving safety standards, service levels and the quality of infrastructure for tollroads in Puerto Rico; and it supports the economic growth and development of the island by improving the budgetary and fiscal situation of the PRHTA. We continue to work for Puerto Rico!

    Former UDP Minister Sued for $10 Million Waterloo Investment Holdings Ltd., Belize Cruise Development Ltd., and Belize Logistics Terminal Ltd. are suing former UDP Minister Erwin "for general, special, and exemplary damages for misfeasance in public office arising from the Defendant’s unlawful and clandestine signing of the Definitive Agreement between Portico Enterprises Limited, dba The Port of Magical Belize, and the Government of Belize dated October 2020." The claimants are asking for: 1. General damages for misfeasance in public office, including loss of opportunity cost; 2. Special damages for developmental costs in the sum of $10,000,000.00; 3. Exemplary damages; 4. Interest pursuant to Sections 175 and 176 of the Senior Courts Act; 5. Costs; and 6. any further or other relief the Court sees fit.
