Real Madrid's Gabriel Heinze has attacked Barcelona President Joan Laporta for his opinion on players leaving for international duty.
The Barca chief recently expressed his dismay at seeing his entire squad up and leave every international weekend and even asked his players to "pace themselves" while on international duty,
However, Argentine defender Henize says that it is impossible for Laporta to grasp the importance of international football to a player.
"Laporta does not know what it means and what it feels like to wear an international jersey," he said on Spanish radio.
"I know what it feels like, and I think that since he doesn't, he shouldn't talk about such matters.
Heinze was part of the Argentina side that beat Chile 2-0 in their opening World Cup qualifier at the weekend.
