Keeps older high power ATX supplies relevant

Works well on older power supplies that have good power ratings, but not the latest connectors. The two rail via dual molex connections keep you from damaging your power supply since the 8 pin can draw quite a lot of power, just make sure to actually use them on separate rails.

Will get the job done for cheap but know what your doing

Using 1 of these plugs "PROBABLY" isn't the best way to go about putting in a high power GFX card but it can get you by in a pinch but I would try to separate the rails you put each of the molex plugs on if you can. Also "PAY ATTENTION" to the molex plugs the pins like to pop out make sure you get it seated properly and I even applied some electrical tape to mine when I installed it to keep the plugs from moving. If you take care installing it and don't run a high watt (250watt +) card using this then you should be alright Honestly I would probably try to keep it only for cards 200 Watts or less. It works as it should though and does the job its just not very good quality.

  • You get what you pay for

I originally purchased this item to convert two Molex power connectors to 8-pin CPU. Obviously, I needed to mod this in order to make it work for CPU power, as this is for 8-pin PCI-E power (because I didn’t seem to read the title all the way though some how) I ended up just removing the ~very~ easily-removable Molex connectors, measuring the required voltage pinouts from the other 8-pin power connector on the PSU, and soldering the wires to their respective 12V+ and GND connections found on the unused 4-pin power. Works like a charm, though would recommend just getting the proper product...

  • Pins pop out

The Molex connectors on my PSU are slightly misaligned, so when I tried to plug this in the pins had a tendency to pop out. This was annoying and also potentially dangerous - I had to be sure to check and make sure that the pins were in the correct sockets. You get what you pay for. It works aside from that though.

  • Accxpress scams you

This item by accxpress had loose pig tails and caused my pc to catch on fire, I did nt catch it until it was too late. F- for this scammer. Luckily I was able to rebuild a connector practically from scratch. Poor craftsmanship and a mean person like the Chinese mining card industry, esp the sapphire cards and the white van scam guys.
