Regina Spektor thrilled the crowd at her Tuesday (June 25) show at Broadway’s Lunt-Fontanne Theatre by bringing out her pal Linda Cardellini for a stunning duet.
Before the actress appeared on stage, Spektor informed the audience that Tuesday was Cardellini’s birthday, and got everyone to say “happy birthday” once she came out.
Spektor and the Dead to Me star then sang the 1937 George Gershwin song “They Can’t Take That Away From Me,” originally performed by Fred Astaire in the film Shall We Dance. Spektor added adorable asides throughout the rendition, and both put their sweet friendship on display.
