I love these pants, which we're mostly using for a sort of pirate-y garb at Faire. The ties at the ankles are a good length, in that they don't drag underfoot. They wash up well, without bleeding colour, and the elastic waist has enough give to it that both my husband and I can wear them. (We went with size XL, and it works well for a size 38 waist and a size 40.)

The Runcati Mens Medieval Renaissance Pants is probably going to need washing before worn. They are mostly cotton and will be wrinkled at first. When sizing, err on the larger side. These are designed to be baggy and when put into boots or over the calf socks, that's what make these pants so special.

You may also want to wash and dry these separately the first time. I found that it did bleed color when I washed it. I also recommend tying the drawstrings to keep them from coming out or disappearing inside the garment never to be seen again. There are three: One on the waist and one on each leg bottom.

These do work well and look nice. The waistband could have had a little more elastic in it but they’re fine.

You could wear them as part of a costume or actually, just around the house. They’re very comfortable.

I got these pants to use as the base layer of a steampunk explorer outfit, and I love them. We recently walked around the Renaissance Festival all day, and I had no problems at all with my pants.

As other reviews have noted, these are designed to be baggy, so don't panic when you open the package and they look huge to you. They are super comfortable to wear, and you're only limited by your own imagination as to how you will use/accessorize them.

On the day we went to RenFest, it was in the mid-70°s, so it was a bit warm by lunch
However, I was still cool and comfortable in my pants. They are a sort of rough, lineny fabric, so if you plan to be out in cooler weather, some thermal underwear might not be a bad idea.

Color and fit were as pictured on storefront. My exact fit for jeans is 33 waist and 30 length and the Medium on these pants fit me perfectly coming down to my ankle.

Material is not super thick which is fine as it looks to be quite comfortable for the summer. It's not thin enough to be a problem though and falls well and holds it's shape. It's usually colder where I am when I need this but due to it's baggy nature it is quite easy to put a layer under. Durability seems to be par for the asking price.

These pants have a perfect fit and work great for a pirate costume, but also for a ninja costume too if you're creative! The strings at the ankles aren't as wide as they appear in the product images, and they're pretty long, but if you bowtime them or tuck them in you're good to go. The legs are suuuuuper baggy and very comfortable. You can get some good kicks in with these! Nice material and easy to clean and iron.

Runcati Mens Medieval Renaissance Pants
I ordered these pants in red, suspecting that they would make perfect pants for a Santa suit. They fit as expected, have decent pockets, & seem like they will work well the roll I have envisioned for them.
4 stars!
The photos on Amazon, provided by the seller, do more justice to the product than any I could add. Any I might add would only prove redundant.
Explaining my rating system:

Super-baggy, great costume pants

I'm 5' 11", 179 lbs., 33" waist, and these pants are a perfect fit. They are plenty big enough in the waist for someone several sizes larger than me, but they cinch down nicely (and comfortably).

The ties at the ankles are pretty long, but you can double wrap or tuck them into boots as desired.

The material is thin and breathable, but not too thin. You could likely lounge around in these on the regular when not in costume and not wear them out.

The stitching looks good, though I've only subjected the pants to a single wash so far.

Speaking of wash - I threw them in the washer/dryer on a regular cycle (i.e. tossed them in and hit play) and I couldn't detect any shrinkage.
