 restaurant, jazz club, night club

3-story residential building completed in 1885 as two houses in a row of eight matching rowhouses. It has been more heavily altered than the buildings to the east. The original stoops have been removed, replaced by a single, narrower metal staircase painted orange-red at the west end, leading up to a parlor-floor entrance. To the right, the original English basements have been combined into a commercial space faced in white-painted stucco with red-painted trim on the bench areas and the low front walls and curving side walls enclosing the areaway. There is a break in the low front wall for an entry to the space, covered by a rounded red canvas canopy extending to the glass-and-metal door. A pair of lamp posts are mounted at the ends of the front enclosing walls. On either side of the club door is a round-arched, semi-circular window.

The parlor-floor level, accessed by the long, narrow, metal staircase, has a narrow balcony fronted by a black metal railing. There is a secondary entrance where the original entrance to No. 349 was, and two narrow, square-headed windows to the right of both doorways. The facade is faced in beige-painted smooth-stucco, with six bays of similar windows on the upper floors. The windows originally had projecting, full surrounds, but these have been removed. The facade is crowned by a pair of matching metal roof cornices, painted a bronze color, with panels and brackets.

The lower level is occupied by Swing 46 Jazz and Supper Club.
