Superhero Aquaman, which is half-human and half-Atlantean who leads the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, first made its appearance in a 1941 comic. Over the years, the story and the character have been adapted into a number of films and series. Here we share some interesting facts about Aquaman.

Aquaman's character gained a lot of popularity with the 2018 superhero film starring Jason Momoa. However the superhero character is actually inspired by the DC Comics character of the same name, created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger in 1941.
