Created and produced by Grande Experiences and The Dalí Museum, DALÍ ALIVE, a multi-sensory, immersive experience sharing the life and legacy of Salvador Dalí, toured the U.S in fall 2022. Opening at THE LUME Colorado, DALÍ ALIVE allowed guests to step into a large-scale, captivating experience celebrating the creative genius of one of the most influential and inventive artists of the modern era.
The experience further redefined the way audiences connected with art and culture, engaging and inspiring guests to explore the life, art and triumphant accomplishments of Dalí. A powerful and vibrant symphony of light, color, captivating imagery, stirring soundscapes and evocative aromas immersed visitors in the surreal visions synonymous with the renowned artist.
Displayed over 13,000 square feet, including a full coverage, multi-sensory projection gallery featuring spatial audio technology, DALÍ ALIVE explored how the artist continually reinvented himself—his place, his person, his family and his very human transience—to overcome obstacles. His personal and artistic moments of reinvention were shared through dynamically animated Dalí’s works in chronological segments highlighting his early, formative years in Spain, his introduction to Surrealist circles, his influential time in America and the enduring cultural impact still recognized globally today.
