Wolfram Mathematica Review

PROS: The implementation process is relatively smooth. We have it up and running in less than an hour. I am glad that it exceeded our expectations plus the customer service staff is always attentive to our concerns. CONS: We didn't realize that the program itself would be too costly on our end. Obtaining a license would require us to shell out a significant amount of money, so we have to use it as often as possible.

PROS: When I learned about this program, I was honestly hesitant to try it out. One of the reasons is that I could not figure out its connection to music. Although it's not a perfect program, I find it really useful for creating the right chords to complete a song. A friend of mine taught me how to use statistical formulas to blend harmonies. At first, I thought that it was impossible until such time that I saw a free demo. I could not believe that a mathematical and computation tool like Mathematica can significantly help me in my line of work.

CONS: I was looking forward to composing and arranging more songs with Mathematica that I didn't anticipate the learning curve that I have to deal with. I had to spend extra time learning how to use each function and make formulas from scratch. I don't consider myself an expert yet, but I'm definitely more confident when creating music that matters most.

PROS: If you need to interpret your data in layman's terms, then Mathematica is ideal for you to use. You do not need to be a coding genius to develop effective formulas to understand your work better.

CONS: The app does not give you any warning or reminder whenever you've entered or used the wrong command. This is frustrating because you'll end up overthinking what went wrong.

PROS: One of the reasons why the team decided to acquire this particular software is its versatility in functionality. It can solve even the most complicated mathematical equations that no one in the team can ever accomplish. Mathematica is the perfect tool to use to present reports in graphical and pie chart formats. Once you log in to the software, you would immediately notice how well organized the interface is. You don't have to waste precious time looking for the features that you need to utilize to make your presentation /reports perfect for your audience. Plus, you can take advantage of integrating it with some of your pre-existing apps to make it more useful.

CONS: One of my major complaints about Mathematica is the process of learning everything about the program. Based on my personal experience, it took me a while to become comfortable with things. There would still be some instances that I need to call out for help. The good thing is that I get the answers that I need, so I still prefer using Mathematica.

PROS: You easily learn new skills through its tutorials, which are not that complicated to follow. I was taught how to create different types of commands to get the answers that I needed.

CONS: I discovered that Mathematica is not that popular among the same industry users. So there may be an option for me to look for another more versatile program.

PROS: I like the way that the program is structured. It's meant to provide us with accurate computations using simple formulas.

CONS: The price is one of the main drawbacks. But I would like to put more emphasis on the positives rather than the negatives.

PROS: This is my go-to program whenever I need to solve complex issues that would pertain to numbers and deviations. As much as I would like to use the excel sheets, I still make mistakes with the formulas. With Mathematica, the functions that we have proves to give out the right answers/figures at all times.

CONS: Mathematica is not meant for ordinary users because of its different structure. If you really want to be an expert with this program, you have to be prepared to overcome many mental challenges. The learning curve is a lot more difficult than expected, especially when you need to memorize how certain functions should be written down.

PROS: Rather than using Excel or a calculator to solve math problems, we'd rather entrust this with Mathematica. No matter how complicated the equation is, Mathematica always has the right answers.

CONS: I have to admit that Mathematica is not user friendly. All the staff has to undergo a series of brain-draining training sessions to grasp how things work.

PROS: The product may not be popular among small to mid-size corporations because it needs to be promoted more often. Once you start using the product, you would realize how essential its purpose is all about. You no longer have to worry if you solve math problems correctly because Mathematica will do it on your behalf.

CONS: My relationship with Mathematica goes way back to when I was still studying to obtain my degree. I am willing to pay for it because of the amount of help I'm getting from this software alone. I will always give Mathematica an excellent rating because the product deserves it.

PROS: If you are not good at numbers, then Mathematica is the answer to your needs. It can help you analyze and solve math questions in just a couple of minutes. I don't rely on manual computation because I'm prone to having mistakes, so I'd instead use Mathematica software to be sure with my answers.

CONS: I wish that the support people would be more proactive when solving our issues. The program is not meant for newbies, and it takes time to learn.

PROS: This app is so impressive because it's multilingual. Meaning we can use it to interpret various equations other than in English. Research projects can be accomplished faster, which is something that we don't have to worry about anymore.

CONS: It's quite challenging to call their CS team. They are not available after office hours and even during weekends. I wish that they would offer callbacks, so we don't have to go through all the hassle of calling again.

PROS: I use Mathematica hand in hand in my reports and presentations. I am more confident that the numbers that I'm showing to my team are highly accurate. It's highly capable of solving a variety of numerical problems.

CONS: It took me a long time to become comfortable with Mathematica. I'm glad that I had the patience to learn things because it's very useful.

PROS: Using Mathematica gave me more opportunities to learn how to present my data consistently and accurately. It would help if you had time to figure things out, then afterward, you become more confident with the quality of your work. I like that I can refer to its modules when I need some questions to be answered.

CONS: Do not expect to be a Mathematica expert right away or even overnight because this can't happen. The program itself is meant for advanced users, so you need to learn how to use the commands correctly.

PROS: It works really well in computing the most complex issues that involve math. We highly use Mathematica to analyze data and in conducting RCA. Plus its works well on tablets and laptops, which means that I can still work while on the go.

CONS: There are times when the system is not recognizing the formulas that I enter.

PROS: It takes charge of solving difficult math problems and analytical functions that we find challenging to do. I don't think that I can find a program that is as unique or can exceed the capabilities of Mathematica.

CONS: I found it hard to cope up in terms of creating the required syntax. I tried to do some self-learning, but I'm still challenged in so many ways.
