Traveling is the first thing Niecy Nash wants to do with her new wife when the world opens up again, because she wants to “make love all around the world” — and on the plane, too.
“The first thing I wanna do when I get out of quarantine I just really want to travel,” she told us. “I want to make love all around the world. I’m already in the ‘mile-high club.'”
“I am the president,” she jokes. “I can send you an application if you’d like to join.”
She says of the destinations she’s considering: “I wanna go everywhere. I wanna go to Italy, I wanna go to Dubai, I wanna go to the Maldives, Turks and Caicos … I just wanna run around naked. Why not?”
After announcing her intimate surprise-wedding to musician Jessica Betts on social media last August, the mother of three told us this week, “This is a new version of me. I am now complete — that’s the best way to describe it. I am so happy because I do what I wanna do.
“My main thing was to tell my immediate circle, and once I did that … I can’t speak for people I don’t know. I feel loved by my friends and family; that was the most important part for me.”
Nash finalized her divorce from Jay Tucker in March of 2020. The pair, who married in 2011, jointly announced their separation, saying they were “better friends than partners in marriage.”
“Claws” star Nash told us that she hasn’t stopped working since quarantine began, and has been landing deals remotely — such as being named the new host of the rebooted game show, “Don’t Forget the Lyrics.”
Nash has also teamed up with Charmin to launch BRB Bot — a “video chatbot” designed to let one use the bathroom while their face remains on the screen during meetings.
