Katherine Heigl is “now bionic” after undergoing neck surgery to free her from “the most excruciating pain” she’s ever had.

The “Firefly Lane” star shared photos on Wednesday of her recovering in a neck brace, in a hospital bed with a bandage of her neck and an X-ray showing the new disks.

“Well…I am now bionic!! Two titanium disk now inhabit my neck and I can probably stand on my head for like hours…I’m not gonna try it just yet but give me a few months and I’ll blow your mind!!” the 42-year-old joked in the caption.

Heigl, who didn’t share the cause of her injury, said surgeons inserted two titanium disks into her vertebrae that will provide her with a “new pain free lease on life!”

The “Grey’s Anatomy” alum thanked her doctors at the the Marina Spinal Center in Marina Del Rey, Calif., for “treating me like a human being and giving me so much of your time and attention to help me truly understand what to expect and what all my options were,” as well as Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital for “your incredible and compassionate care and attention!”

She also wished her followers a happy St. Patrick’s Day and joked, “Clearly I’ve been blessed with the luck of the Irish today!”
