Derek Jeter’s supermodel ex has no qualms about the legendary shortstop settling down.
Vida Guerra, who reportedly dated the former Yankee in 2005, tells TMZ that Jeter is simply fulfilling a longtime fantasy.
“He said once he retired he wanted to get married, so he’s living his dream,” she says. “He’s really an awesome person, and I wish him all the best.”
Jeter, who wrapped his 20-year baseball career in 2014, presented girlfriend Hannah Davis with an estimated six-figure rock after popping the question in late October. Davis debuted the dazzling sparkler at the CMAs in Nashville last week.
Guerra found her happily-ever-after elsewhere. The Cuban stunner was FHM magazine’s Model of the Year in 2004, stripped down for Playboy in 2006 and appeared in the music video for Kanye West’s “The New Workout Plan.”
Though she has plenty of projects on the horizon, Guerra takes the time to fill her Instagram feed with photos accentuating her most famous assets.
