After the great success of the retrospective’s of Parisian photographers, Doisneau, Izis and Willy Ronis, Paris continues it’s self-exploration through the eyes of some of it’s greatest photographers, this time presenting the intense and luminous black and white work of Brassaï.

“For the love of Paris” ( «Pour l’amour de Paris») tells the extraordinary story of passion. It is not just a story of passion for Paris, but one of art, photography, beauty and the truth. It is one that unites the work of Brassaï for more than fifty years, as a writer, photographer, filmmaker. Through the exploration of all those who make the legend of Paris, Paris, Brassaï pays homage to intellectuals, artists, prostitutes and rascals alike in a captivating collection of images.

Having opened in November 2013, the exhibition due to popular demand, has been extended to the end of March 2014 (29th of March). Time is of the essence, and having been twice already myself, I can assure you it is definitely not one to miss.
