The acclaimed fashion photographer strengthens his close relationship with the textile giant in a limited edition launch.

After the unceasing success of the exhibition ‘Steven Meisel 1993: A Year in Photographs’, which was held in the city of A Coruña until just a few months ago, Inditex has once again strengthened its relationship with Meisel through a capsule collection for Zara. In it, some of the pieces that have accompanied the artist over the years and that have marked his particular style are reimagined by him to give rise to a series of unique garments.

This is the case of the long crocodile-effect coat, the leather shirt with corset-inspired laces and the denim jacket decorated with sequins. Not to mention the graphic T-shirts that come adorned with some of Steven’s most famous drawings, the same ones that celebrate his early years as a fashion illustrator through 26 portraits of some of the most important figures of his career: Gigi Hadid, Amber Valletta, Kaia Gerber, Irina Shayk or Eva Herzigova, among others.

The campaign, captured by himself, features styling by Karl Temper and showcases the entire collection, which will go on sale on 18 September via zara.com.
