Description
Español: Este cerro esta situado cerca de la ciudad de Mendoza, antiguamente llamado Cerro Del Pilar que por decreto del Poder Ejecutivo cambio su denominación por la actual el 30 de enero de 1913. 
 Se construyo como homenaje al Monumento del Ejercito de los Andes comandado por el General Jose de San Martín inaugurado el 12 de febrero de 1914 en el 97ª aniversario de La Batalla de Chacabuco.
 Su acceso es gratuito y se puede ascender a la cima por sederos peatonales, (existen rampas para discapacitados) o en automóvil con estacionamiento hasta para 40 vehículos, Al llegar al panteón nos encontramos con un puesto policial e instalaciones sanitarias.
 En sus cercanías se encuentra el Zoológico de Mendoza, dicho paseo conocido como el mas extraordinario de Argentina, el Estadio Mundialista Malvinas Argentinas, entre otros.
 En su ascenso se puede deleitar la maravillosa Ciudad de Mendoza y la Cordillera de Los Andes.
 Este monumento es visitado por miles de personas al año de todo el mundo.
Actualmente es reconocido como el mas venerado, por su grande historia, de la provincia y del pais.
