This Lexus LS Sedan got away, but there are more like it here.
This 2006 Lexus LS430 is a black-over-black example that has spent time in California through the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2022 and now has 42k miles. Powered by a 4.3-liter V8 paired with a six-speed automatic transmission, the car is equipped with 18″ alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, speed-sensing power steering, a sunroof, a rear sunshade, heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats with position memory settings, dual-zone automatic climate control, parking sensors, navigation, and a Mark Levinson sound system. The timing belt and water pump were replaced in 2014, and service in preparation for the sale reportedly consisted of changing the oil and replacing the hood struts, engine air filter, and cabin air filter. This UCF30 LS is offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with a dealer service report, factory literature, two keys, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The LS430 was restyled for the 2004 model year with revised front and rear fascias, adaptive headlights, and LED taillights. This example was delivered new in black (202) and features chrome trim, auto-leveling fog lamps, parking sensors, and a sunroof. Paint chips and scratches are visible on the body, close-up photos of which are presented in the gallery. According to the selling dealer, the rear bumper cover has been repainted.
Chrome-finished 18″ five-spoke wheels are mounted with 245/45 Toyo Spectrum HP tires. Stopping power is provided by ventilated disc brakes at each corner, and the car is equipped with a double-wishbone suspension as well as speed-sensing power rack-and-pinion steering.
The climatized power-adjustable front seats are trimmed in black leather and are complemented by a color-coordinated dash, door panels, and carpets. Wood trim accents the dash, door panels, and center console, and amenities include front seat position memory settings, dual-zone automatic climate control, a rear sunshade, puddle lamps, navigation, and a Mark Levinson audio system with seven speakers, a cassette player, and an in-dash CD changer. A replacement cabin air filter was reportedly fitted in preparation for the sale.
A leather- and wood-trimmed multifunction steering wheel sits ahead of instrumentation that includes a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer shows 42k miles.
The 4.3-liter 3UZ-FE V8 features aluminum construction, quad cams, four valves per cylinder, and VVT-i continuously variable valve timing. Output was rated at 278 horsepower and 312 lb-ft of torque when new. A camshaft sensor was replaced in 2010, the timing belt and water pump were replaced in 2014, and service in preparation for the sale is said to have consisted of replacing the engine air filter and hood struts as well as performing an oil change. The car passed an emissions inspection in November 2021.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration activity in California.
