This position is based in Mountain View, CA.

The area: Partner Solutions

Partner Solutions team empowers the ecosystem across Sales, Product and Partners to make Offers, Shopping, Wallet, Digital Content, Knowledge, Geo/Local, Social and Ads products work. We provide end-to-end technical and operations support for partners for most of Google properties. This includes influencing product strategy, developing scalable product tools, helping onboard new partners, providing technical implementation services to some of the most strategic partners and ongoing partner management.

The role: Partner Technology Manager (Mobile/Digital Content)

As a Partner Technology Manager in the Digital Content vertical, you will work on leading-edge products to meet the accelerating consumption of digital content on mobile phones, tablets, eReaders and other devices. You will work closely with the Strategic Partnerships, Product and Engineering teams and our largest Digital Publishing, Application and Device partners to enable new product launches and drive international product readiness. You will lead the overall technical partnership aspects (pre-sales, deployment, integration, optimization, scalability) to build strong, successful, long-term relationships at Google scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Own technical pre-sales and post-signing implementation for Google's most strategic Digital Content, Application and Device partners.
  • Ensure success of all technical partnership aspects to support new product and feature launches and internationalization.
  • Create tools and processes to scale and operationalize support of the partnership ecosystem as it grows from handfuls, to tens of thousands of partners.
  • Provide the "voice of the partner" in feature prioritization discussions.
  • Identify and implement optimizations to grow user adoption and revenue.

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).
  • Excellent coding skills in Python, Javascript, Java, PHP, Perl or C++.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years relevant work experience with Internet technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Linux/UNIX).
  • Strong track record in client-facing technical roles.
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in the following: online publishing (books, magazines, news), mobile devices, eCommerce, and/or payment systems.
  • Excellent written and oral business communication skills.
